Never played a mud before? No problem. You are a character, walking
around in a text-based world. The world is composed of thousands of rooms
that are connected by exits. You can move from room to room, by typing
the direction in which you want to go. (North, South, East, West, Up or
Down)
You can interact with the game by typing in commands, like look,
who, say, tell, and evaluate. Any commands can be abbreviated to the
shortest set of letters that distinguishes it from other commands.
(n for north, l for look, sc for score, or ev for evaluate)
There are many help files in the game. You can type help by itself
or help topics to get a list of topics. Also, you may want to type
help newbie, help train, and help map.
In the game world, you will find objects, mobiles(monsters), as
well as other players. You can interact with any of these with the
appropriate commands and arguments. For example, get sword, evaluate
troll, or tell bob hello.
To get information about yourself, use the commands score, inventory,
and equipment. (sc, inv, and eq for short) To interact with objects,
use commands like get, get all, drop, wield, wear, remove, identify. To
interact with other players, use commands like who, say, tell, and talk.
To interact with mobiles, use evaluate, look, and kill.
