Topic: INTERACTIVE MOBILES
Players can interact with the mobiles in several ways. Many
humanoids are TALKERS, in that they can respond to greet, ask,
and bye commands.
In addition to being a talker, a mobile can be a SHOPKEEPER, a
GUILDMASTER, a BEAMER, or a PUZZLE.
Shopkeepers respond to list, buy, sell, value, appraise, and
give commands. You can get new equipment or sell equipment
that you do not want at a shopkeeper of the appropriate type.
Some shopkeepers can make a special item if given the right raw
Guildmasters respond to practice, train, or advance. Most
guildmasters can practice at least one spell or skill. There
are two special guildmasters in town, one for training stats,
and one for advancing levels.
Puzzle mobiles respond to a say or give command. If given the
correct key phrase, they may respond with some information.
If given the correct object, they may give you a reward.
Beamer mobiles respond to the say command. If you give them
the correct command (usually a destination), then they will
transport you to that location.
