Topic: FEATURES

This mud incorporates many features normally found in clients
directly into the mud. The advantage of having them in the mud
is that it saves bandwidth. The less data traveling between the
mud and the player, the better. Some features that we include
are aliases, command stacking, automatic triggers, and advanced
wimpy options.

A player can alias a long command into a short abreviation. For
example, alias rr to be recite recall. This saves the player
time (and probably a few deaths.) Having it in the mud, means
that less data is being sent across the net.

A player can set an option to allow the stacking of multiple
commands on a single line. This will help a player who is
having lag and would not want to execute a command unless the
player can immediately execute the next commands.

A player can set automatic triggers, like autoloot, autogold,
and autosplit. The advantage here is that no messages at all
have to be sent across the net.

Finally, a player can set some advanced wimpy commands. A
player can set up to 5 commands to be executed when his or her
hit points fall into a given range. For example, a player
can specify to cast heal when below 500 hp, quaff a potion when
below 400, recite recall at 300, and flee at 200. The great
thing about this solution is that it works in both lag and with
link loss. Most player deaths occur, because they could not
get the right commands to the mud in time.
